Graffiti on Facebook

Here's an illustration of Darkness from the 1985 movie Legend that I did on my Facebook's Graffiti page. To view the replay, click on the link below.

For those of you who have Graffiti, do you have trouble saving detailed images? I had a couple of illustrations that did not save in the program. It's really frustrating!!! Here are more 'Graffiti' paintings:

"Frankenstein"

"Woman 1"

"Girl 1"

"Did I Do That?" (Flashback TV)

That nasally voice, the crazy laugh, huge glasses, colorful suspenders and pants that flooded way more than New Orleans... This is a 'very old' caricature of Steve Urkel. Painted in dyes and colored pencil.

Question? Did he get on your nerves or were you a fan of Urkel?

The Punisher opening titles (2004)

I provided animation for the opening title sequence of 'The Punisher' movie. Teaming up up again with Walter Santucci as the Evil Cat Land crew along with Kaleidoscope Films Group, which provided overall art direction, texturing & compositing.

In Her Shoes (opening animation)

I teamed up again with Walter Santucci as the Evil Cat Land crew along with Academy award winning director Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential, 8 Mile, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle) of Deuce Three Productions and Fox 2000 to Co-direct & provide animation for the open title sequence of 'In Her Shoes' movie. Starring Cameron Diaz, Toni Collette, Shirley MacLaine and Mark Feuerstein.

These titles were created for the film a year before its release and then cut from the final picture when the producers decided to make the film seem more serious.

On youtube now!!!

I finally opened a youtube account. Here is the web address:

Various animations involving parodies of superheroes that I worked on.

Captian Trek

Here's an old illustration of the captians of Star Trek & Star Trek TNG. The old debate still remains: "Which one was the best captian?"
My vote is for Sisko - (Just kidding!)

Below are a couple of caricatures of Don King, Bill Cosby, Barbara Streisand & Usher

More Caricatures

Here are some old caricatures that I did for magazine companies and self promotion. Most of the caricatures are painted in acrylic paint. The others are done in watercolors or rendered in Photoshop

The Proud Family

Here are a couple of comics that I illustrated for Disney Adventures magazine with artist Robert Rucker. A great thing about this project is that I met with Bruce Smith, The Proud Family's creator and he taught me how to draw the characters. I still have some of his original sketches. Thanks Bruce!

Caricatures of Caricaturists!

Here are some caricatures of caricaturists I did for The Drawing Board. I tried to stretch myself by rendering the illustrations in various styles.

This one's in pencil.

Pencil sketch.

Pencil sketch scanned and rendered in Photoshop.

A couple of graphically illustrated caricatures.

Garbage Pail Kids

Here are some illustrations of 'Garbage Pails Kids' that I did for The Topps Company. They were part of ANS5. AN7 is in the works. Hopefully I can be a part of that series as well. I really had a lot of fun painting these cards.

Here's how the original paintings looked.

"I would have waited an eternity for this!"

Oh well, at least he's the voice on the video game. Boy do I wish Chris Latta (the guy who did Starscream's voice) was still alive. His voice was classic! CCCOOBBRRAAA!!!

More Hollywood Zombies Illustrations

Here are more painting I did for Topps' Hollywood Zombies trading card series. On the Beyonce zombie, Jay-Z was originally in the crowd. His likeness is changed (by Topps) on the final print. (It was probably a legal issue.) All illustrations are painted in acrylics.

Here's the photoshop change of Jay-Z in the final print. (Some people can still see a little Jay-Z hiding underneath all that facial hair.)

Hollywood Zombies

Below are promotion pieces for the Hollywood Zombies trading card series from The Topps Company. I painted some cards in the series. The medium used is acrylics. Here is a link to the official website. http://www.hollywoodzombies.com/

Disclaimer: Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this (project) is in no way endorses a belief in the occult.

(If you are a Michael Jackson fan, you know I just totally ripped that from the beginning of his Thriller video!)
