Updates to an illustration I did in 1992. The layout is based on the iconic ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’ movie poster by the virtuosic Drew Struzan, who recently saw my illustration and gave me the thumbs up! :D

A Blast from the Past: In Living Color!

An old illustration I did in college of the 'In Living Color' cast. I was trying to emulate my favorite artist at the time, the virtuosic Drew Struzan. The layout is based on the iconic ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’ movie poster. (Painted in dyes and color pencil. Circa 1992)

Many years later I was working with the Wayans Bros. and I showed this illustration to them on my first day. Shawn jocosely punched me in the gut for not including 'DJ SW1' with the Fly Girls! :)
